Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a form of chronic pain that generally occurs in an or a leg. This condition typically develops after surgery, injury, a stroke, or a heart attack. The pain is intolerable, considering the severity of the injury.
CRPS is an uncommon condition, and its cause isn’t clearly understood yet. For this reason, its treatment is most effective when diagnosed early. In later cases, improvement and remission are near impossible.
Signs and symptoms of CRPS are:
- Continuous burning or throbbing pain
- Sensitivity to touch or cold
- Swelling of the painful area
- Changes in skin temperature — alternating between sweaty and cold
- Changes in skin color, ranging from white and blotchy to red or blue
- Changes in skin texture, which may become tender, thin, or shiny in the affected area
- Changes in hair and nail growth
- Joint stiffness, swelling, and damage
- Muscle spasms, tremors, weakness, and loss (atrophy)
- Decreased ability to move the affected body part
These symptoms aren’t constant and may vary from person to person. However, pain, swelling, and redness are constant.
Bring to the table win-win survival strategies to ensure proactive domination. At the end of the day, going forward, a new normal that has evolved.

- Pleasure rationally encounter
- Consequences that are extremely painful.
